L-1A: 7 years max; L-1B: 5 years max

$1,385 filing fee + $500 fraud prevention fee + optional $2,805 premium processing

Requirements

Employed by qualifying multinational company for at least 1 year in past 3 years
Transferring to US parent, subsidiary, affiliate, or branch office
L-1A: Managerial or executive role; L-1B: Specialized knowledge
US entity must be doing business (or new office petition for startups)

Path to Permanent Residence

L-1A holders eligible for EB-1C Green Card (no PERM needed). L-1B holders can pursue EB-2/EB-3 with PERM.
